Course Objective:
To inform persons of the current Texas Department of State Health Services Asbestos Regulations
Course Content:
Detail discussion regarding the current asbestos regulations composed by the sate of Texas. The instructor shall guide the student(s) through the various rules: Texas Administrative code, Title 5, Part 1, Chapter 296, Health services, Texas department of State Health Protection Rules; any other pertinent state regulations. Cursory review of business, personal legal implications, and health effects of asbestos. Each student will receive a copy of current state regulations for references.
